Mary I. Williams is Director of Community and Student Engagement with over twenty years of environmental advocacy experience based on the Communiversity-Model to address environmental and climate justice concerns among universities and communities in the Southeast Region. Her work addresses adverse environmental health impacts, social and economic disadvantage, and emotional wellness.  She develops and administers programing activities for underserved college students and vulnerable communities through community trainings, research, and student internship opportunities. She is Program Manager for the HBCU Climate Change Consortium with a partnership of 32 HBCU’s.  Mary has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southern University at New Orleans and a Master of Counselor Education from the University of New Orleans.
