Ginger LeBlanc, BA

DSCEJ Director of Communications

Ginger LeBlanc serves as Director of Communications for DSCEJ. The role is very personal for her, as she grew up in Cancer Alley, survived cancer while in college, and recently saw her youngest son through a cancer diagnosis at age 10. She has a Bachelor of Mass Communications from Louisiana State University.  Ginger has worked in communications, creative and design-driven roles for 16 years, beginning in the higher education realm in 2005 and then moving into the nonprofit space in 2016. In terms of climate change, she believes the time for sensible and significant change and accountability measures is long overdue and has a passion for raising public awareness that will lead to action, advocacy and policy change.
